Outreach Tutor - Sutton

Position: SEN Specialist Tutor - Home & Outreach Tuition
Age Range: Primary to GCSE
Subjects: Maths and English essential; other subjects welcome
Hours: 0-40 hours per week
Typical Referral: 10-15 hours per week per student
Pay Rate: £25-£35 per hour
Contract: Ongoing / Long-Term
Working Hours: Mainly during school hours

About the Role

Remedy Tutors is looking for caring, friendly and enthusiastic tutors to support children and young people across Sutton who may be struggling to access education in a traditional school setting.

You will provide personalised one-to-one tuition, often in the student's home or another suitable community setting.

This is a great opportunity for tutors who enjoy working closely with individual learners and want to make a genuine difference to their confidence, wellbeing and educational progress.

Students may range from primary age through to GCSE, offering opportunities to work with learners at different stages depending on your experience and preferences.

Maths and English are essential subjects for this role. If you can teach additional subjects, we'd also be happy to hear from you.

You don't need to be a qualified teacher to apply if you have strong tutoring or educational experience and are confident supporting young people with additional needs.
