Van Driver – Tewkesbury
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to join our well-established client based in Tewkesbury .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, weekly pay, no heavy lifting and the opportunity to secure a permanent position after just six weeks.
£14.76 Per Hour | £19.68 Overtime | Weekly Pay | No Heavy Lifting | Immediate Starts | Permanent Opportunities After Six Weeks
This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Van Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Courier Driver, Parcel Delivery Driver or Delivery Driver.
Shifts

• Monday to Saturday
• 6:00am start times
• Saturday shifts are shorter than weekday shifts

Rates of Pay

• £14.76 per hour
• £19.68 per hour after 48 hours worked
• Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Van Driver, your duties will include:

• Delivering small parcels within a designated delivery area
• Completing approximately 30–40 deliveries per day
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Completing delivery paperwork and electronic records where required
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before departure
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location
• Following all road traffic legislation and company procedures

Essential Skills

• Valid UK Category B driving licence
• No more than three penalty points for minor offences
• No DD, DR or IN endorsement codes
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively

Training Provided

• Industry-related training
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
