?? Class 1 HGV Day Driver – £17.06ph - Doncaster - Temp to perm

We are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join a reputable and well known client of ours in Doncaster.
This role involves delivering goods to supermarket stores, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Driving a Class 1 vehicle to deliver goods to stores.
Completing store deliveries in line with planned routes and delivery schedules.
Handling cages and roll containers.
Safely manoeuvring the vehicle in store delivery areas and loading bays.
Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
Completing delivery paperwork and following all delivery procedures.
Maintaining regular communication with the transport team regarding delays or issues.
Following drivers' hours regulations, road traffic laws and company health and safety procedures.
Providing a professional and courteous service when delivering to Tesco stores.
Ensuring goods are transported securely and handled with care.
Requirements
Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
Comfortable with store deliveries and handling cages or roll containers.
Good understanding of drivers' hours and road safety regulations.
Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
