Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

The Role
As a Health Care Assistant with iCare24, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living needs while ensuring their dignity, comfort, and wellbeing are always prioritised.
Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Supporting service users with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assisting with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in service users' health and wellbeing.
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately.
• Promoting dignity, respect, privacy, and independence at all times.
• Following care plans, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to service users.

Essential Requirements:

• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, where required.

Previous experience in a healthcare or care setting is desirable. However, candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply, with training provided where appropriate.
