3.5T Multi-Drop Van Driver

Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join our transport operation who will be responsible for delivering fine wines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, always ensuring a high standard of customer service while adhering to company policies and legal compliance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and working independently.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day
Standard shift: 05:30 to 13:30
Employees will typically work 1 to 2 hours overtime beyond their scheduled finish time
Overtime is paid at time and a half for all hours worked over 40 hours per week
Actual finish times may vary depending on workload and operational requirements

Job requirements

What We're Looking For
Full Clean UK driving licence (Category B) and the ability to handle a 3.5 tonne van
Previous van driving / multi drop delivery experience preferred, although full training will be provided.
Good knowledge of local road networks
Ability to lift and handle goods with care
As this is a fine wine operation the successful candidate must be able to handle alcohol
Strong time management and organisational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A positive, reliable, and flexible approach to work
