Van Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Greenford, West London
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am start, minimum 8 hours per day
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Strive Staffing Solutions are recruiting on behalf of an established heating and plumbing merchant based in Greenford for a reliable Van Driver / Warehouse Operative.

This is a hands-on, dual-role position combining local deliveries with general warehouse duties. The successful candidate will deliver heating, plumbing and bathroom products to customers and support the warehouse team when not out on the road.

Key Responsibilities

Driving a company van to make local deliveries and collections.

*

Checking orders and ensuring goods are delivered safely and correctly.

*

Loading and unloading the van.

*

Completing delivery paperwork and basic vehicle checks.

*

Picking, preparing and organising customer orders.

*

Loading and unloading incoming stock.

*

Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse.

*

Supporting the wider team with general warehouse duties.

Requirements

*

Previous van driving experience.

*

Full, valid UK driving licence.

*

Reliable, punctual and organised.

*

Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.

*

Willing to work in both driving and warehouse operations.

*

A positive attitude and a team-focused approach.

Important: This is not a driving-only role. You must be happy to assist with warehouse duties whenever you are not making deliveries.
