Job : HGV1 Driver
Location : Avonmouth (BS11)
PAYE: £21.47 per hour (Inclusive holiday pay)
Contract Type: Temp-Perm
Shifts: Monday - Friday (14:00-16:00)
Driving Force Recruitment are operating as an employment business and are currently seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth (BS11)
The Job will involve a mixture of store deliveries and trunking work. Store deliveries will mainly be 1-2 drops per shift. Store delivery runs tend to last around 9 hours whilst trunk runs last around 11 hours.
This client use all kind of vehicles, single decker, double decker trailer Curtain side and box tail lift trailers.
Start times available 14:00-17:00pm
Flexible shift pattern available .
Rates ;
£21.47 Monday - Friday
Drivers are responsible for the below
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to the transport office
Maintain records of deliveries, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
·CPC and Digital Tachograph trained
·12 months minimum experience on HGV1
·Good level of English communication
·Must have held an English Driving license for a minimum of 6 months
·Must not have DR10 or MS90 on your license
