Digital Apprenticeship Coach | Hybrid - Swansea | £40,000 | Permanent
I'm working with a highly rated Welsh digital apprenticeship provider that is growing its delivery team. You'll coach Welsh Government-funded apprentices through IT & data programmes, in a hybrid role that blends remote delivery, employer visits and time in the office. If you're a technical professional who wants your expertise to turn into careers, this is a strong move.
The role:
Deliver and coach Level 3/4 apprentices on Data Technician courses, through remote sessions, workplace visits and workshops
Manage a caseload of apprentices, tracking progress against the apprenticeship standard and keeping records compliant
Run progress reviews with apprentices and their employers, setting clear targets for knowledge, skills and behaviours
Prepare apprentices for End-Point Assessment, including portfolio and project guidance
Build working relationships with employers so on-the-job learning ties back to the programme
Keep delivery quality high through observations, standardisation and regular CPD
Essential:
Experience training, coaching or mentoring, whether formal apprenticeship delivery or something equivalent
Confident running structured learning sessions for early-career learners
Happy to travel across South Wales to employer sites
A teaching or assessing qualification (TAQA, CAVA or similar), or a willingness to work towards one
Desirable:
Prior apprenticeship delivery against a named standard
Familiarity with EPA processes
