Job Title: Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: North Yorkshire Rate: £38–41 per hour
Inside Scope, no Limited Co. Engagement)
Job Type: Contract, 2 months ongoing initially, potential to extend
Day Shifts: Primarily Monday to Friday – 8-hour shifts – NO NIGHTS, some weekends

? Experience with conveyors, motors, drives, sensors & PLC s
? Ability to cope with wet/dusty, contamination-prone environments
? Preventative maintenance planning to avoid damaging food safety interruptions
? Quick turnaround repairs during high-volume peaks
You'll play a key role in maintenance and fitting tasks, supporting production line maintenance and improvement projects while ensuring equipment uptime and performance.
Key Responsibilities: Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer - temporary
Carry out maintenance
Perform planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery, including conveyors, motors, and drives
Support the plant and automated systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and handling equipment
Attend to breakdowns promptly, delivering fast, safe, and effective mechanical repairs
Assist in modification and improvement projects on process lines and production equipment
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring reliability and performance targets are achieved
Maintain safe working practices and uphold engineering standards across all tasks.
