HGV Class 2 Driver - Rugby, Warwickshire
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver .
Rates of Pay:
Days (06:00am - 10:00pm): £18.54 per hour
Nights (10:00pm - 06:00am): £21.43 per hour
Overtime (42+ hours): £26.54 per hour
Shift Pattern:
Sunday to Thursday
Start times between 6:00pm and 7:00pm
Monday to Friday
Start times between 5:00am and 6:00am

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Completing multi-drop deliveries of cages to hospitals
Loading and unloading roller cages
Operating and driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers
Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before transit
Completing all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
Essential Skills:
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:
A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
A minimum of twelve months Category C driving experience
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
Valid UK CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
Good spoken and written English
A professional and reliable approach to work
Strong understanding of driver regulations and road safety
Training:
Industry-related training provided
Ongoing support throughout your assignment
Client-specific paid induction and driver training
