Academics are looking for a Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Appleton, Warrington.
We're looking for a caring, proactive and reliable TA who can work closely with teachers to support pupils and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
The role may involve:
- Supporting pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Helping deliver the primary curriculum through engaging activities
- Supporting phonics, reading, writing and maths
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
- Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and engagement
- Supporting classroom routines and learning activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and following safeguarding procedures
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Has previous experience working with children
- Understands the primary curriculum
- Has experience supporting phonics and early reading
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Is patient, enthusiastic and dependable
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding
