Location: Exeter

Pay: £13.50 to £14.10 per hour (£28,080 to £29,328 per annum)

Entering a residential home can feel overwhelming for a child facing past trauma. They do not need someone simply checking boxes on a shift; they need a consistent, reassuring presence who can keep them safe and valued[cite: 4, 16].

We are seeking 2 permanent Support Workers to join our Exeter children's home team. You will support young people with emotional and social challenges, creating a happy, structured, and safe home environment.

This role is well suited to applicants who have worked as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Youth Worker, SEN Assistant, Key Worker, or Childcare Practitioner. How you will make a difference

Establish Safety: Deliver predictable daily routines that help dysregulated youth feel secure and supported

Community Engagement: Support young people during social activities, sports, and educational outings.

Detailed Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs to support therapeutic care goals.
