This is an excellent opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning and developing valuable hands-on experience within a nurturing, child-centred and nature-focused nursery environment.

What You'll Do

As an Early Years Apprentice, you will: Support children through their daily learning, play and care routines. Help plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's development and interests. Encourage children's creativity, confidence, independence and curiosity. Support indoor and outdoor learning opportunities, including nature-based experiences. Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. Observe, monitor and record children's progress and achievements. Help create a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment. Support children's emotional wellbeing and development. Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery practice. Attend training, team meetings and professional development activities.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for applicants who: Have a genuine passion for working with children. Are enthusiastic, reliable and eager to learn. Have strong communication and teamwork skills. Are patient, caring and positive role models. Can show initiative and a willingness to develop professionally. Are committed to completing the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship. Essential Requirements GCSE English Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent). Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS check. Two satisfactory references.

Training Training will be delivered by Best Practice Network through a blend of workplace learning, online training and regular reviews with a dedicated trainer. Upon successful completion, you will achieve the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard . Working Hours 38 hours per week Four-day working week Operating hours between 7:30am and 6:30pm , Monday to Friday Shifts will be worked on a rota basis Salary £15,808 - £25,114.96 per annum Salary may increase based on performance and progression.
