Class 2 Driver - Temp to Perm Opportunity | Horsham | £19.00 per Hour
Class 2 Drivers wanted for a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity in Horsham.
Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for stable, full-time work with a supportive team and long-term career prospects? We are recruiting on behalf of a valued client in Horsham for a reliable Class 2 Driver to join their waste collection operation.
This role involves driving a dustcart and working alongside two loaders to collect household and commercial waste. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for Class 2 Drivers seeking a permanent position after a successful temporary period.
Job Details

• Position: Class 2 Driver
• Location: Horsham
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 05:30am - 2:00pm/2:30pm
• Weekly Hours: 42 hours
• Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour (Umbrella)
• Bank Holidays: Triple pay
• Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 dustcart on domestic and commercial waste collection routes
• Work as part of a three-person crew
• Assist with loading and unloading when required
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver or HGV Driver
• Own transport due to site location
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading duties when required
