Gotpeople is seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our client's team based in Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established, reputable company offering consistent shifts. Immediate starts available.

Position Overview

As an HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver , you will be responsible for the safe and punctual delivery of goods while providing exceptional customer service. The role involves multi-drop deliveries and manual handling, including unloading.

Key Responsibilities

Complete all required assessments and training Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers Unload cages into stores, involving physical activity Perform multi-drop deliveries across London and the South East Follow allocated routes and participate in a rota system Conduct daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects Ensure all deliveries comply with company policies and procedures Maintain a high standard of customer service when engaging with clients Adhere to all relevant driver hours and road safety regulations Candidate Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 18 months' driving experience Possession of a full CPC and a digital tachograph card No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (excluding DR, DD or IN endorsements) Comfortable with manual handling and lifting bulky items Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, with the ability to work safely and meet delivery schedules Willingness to wear appropriate PPE (high-visibility clothing and safety boots) Pay & Benefits £21.12 per hour PAYE Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours'
