• Monday to Friday: £13.50 per hour
• Holiday Pay: Accrued separately in line with PAYE regulations

About the Role
Pure Staff are recruiting for a Van Day Driver on behalf of a well-established distribution business operating within the building materials and construction supply sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a Van Day Driver looking for long-term, ongoing work with a professional employer that offers genuine opportunities for permanent employment.
Based in the Atherstone area, the successful Van Day Driver will be responsible for delivering building and roofing products to commercial customers across local and national routes.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of building and roofing products
• Carry out typically 7 to 10 deliveries per shift
• Safely load, unload and handball products as required
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately using an electronic POD device
• Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Deliver excellent customer service at all delivery locations
• Follow company health and safety policies and driving regulations at all times

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 05:00 and 12:00
• Flexible start times may be available depending on operational requirements
• Typical shift lengths between 8 and 12 hours
• Long-term ongoing work available
• No regular weekend working

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous Van Day Driver or multi-drop delivery experience preferred
• Comfortable with manual handling duties and unloading products
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to use electronic POD devices accurately
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
• Good understanding of UK road safety regulations
