Class 2 Driver – Equipment Deliveries & Collections Location: Avonmouth
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am starts
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Training: Full training provided
Job Description We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our client's team based in Avonmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for a long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for delivering and collecting equipment to and from customer sites, ensuring all equipment is transported safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities Delivering and collecting equipment to and from customer sites.
Completing all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
Demonstrating the safe and correct use of equipment to customers where required.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance to ensure the vehicle remains roadworthy and safe.
Safely loading and unloading equipment, ensuring all items are correctly strapped and secured.
Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers.
Requirements A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Minimum of 2 years' Class 2 driving experience.
A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
A strong understanding of vehicle safety and load security.
Good communication and customer service skills.
A reliable, responsible and flexible approach to work.
The ability to work independently and manage deliveries and collections efficiently.
What We Offer Monday to Friday working pattern.
7:00am start times.
Full training provided on the equipment.
