Warehouse Operative/ Picker

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Voice Order Pickers to join a busy distribution warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

As a Voice Order Picker, your duties will include:

Picking customer orders accurately using a voice picking headset and system.
Picking products from pallet locations within the warehouse.
Building customer orders safely and securely onto pallets, ensuring products are stacked correctly for transport.
Working to productivity and accuracy targets while maintaining high standards.
Using handheld scanners where required to complete warehouse tasks.
Checking product quantities and locations to ensure orders are picked correctly.
Following all warehouse procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe.
Working as part of a team to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time. Day shifts and night shifts available

Pay rate £12.71 - £16.52 per hour

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A strong background in warehouse order picking.
Previous experience picking orders directly onto pallets.
Experience within a wholesale or distribution warehouse is highly desirable.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment while meeting productivity targets.
A reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
The ability to carry out a physically demanding role, including regular lifting, walking, and standing throughout your shift. What We Offer
