Night Shift Printing Operative

Job Description:

We are looking for a technically minded and detail-focused Digital Print Operative to join a well-established company based in Newhaven on an ongoing basis. This role is ideal for someone experienced in digital print who is confident working with systems, file handling, and colour-critical workflows. Previous experience operating Xerox digital printing presses is essential for this role.

Duties will include:

• Operating and monitoring digital print machinery.
• Ensuring print jobs are completed accurately and to quality standards.
• Setting up and adjusting machines as required.
• Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance.
• Meeting production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating at least one of the following:
• Xerox Iridesse (preferred)
• Xerox Versant
• Xerox iGen
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently on night shifts.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

Desirable

• Experience using Fiery RIP software.
• Previous experience within a print production environment.
