Job description

Join a modern furniture distribution centre in Lichfield where you'll work as part of a team handling high-quality furniture for major UK retailers.

This is a long-term opportunity offering weekly pay, regular overtime paid at £19.44 per hour, performance bonuses (after 12 weeks) and the chance to secure a permanent contract.

The rate of pay is £12.96 per hour, overtime is available after working 40 hours and is paid at £19.44 per hour.

This is a full-time, temp-perm position working on rotating shifts. The hours of work are:

• 6am to 2:30pm
• 2pm to 10:30pm

We are looking for people who are flexible for overtime and the occasional short-notice shift on Saturdays.

Due to the training a good level of English communication is required for this role.

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative your duties include:

• Safely unloading containers
• Relocating goods using WMS/scanners
• Working as a team to handle premium furniture with care - 2-person lifting
• Picking, sorting and palletising orders in a large warehouse
• Reporting damages

Please note this role involves heavy lifting.
