Pay Rate: £17.65 per hour
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 6:00 AM
Hours: 8–10 hours per day

Job Description

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team, delivering palletised goods to a variety of commercial customers. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent weekday work with the potential for a permanent position.

The successful candidates will be responsible for completing pallet deliveries safely, efficiently and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service at every delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver palletised goods to commercial customers and businesses.
Complete multi-drop deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure all deliveries are carried out safely and in accordance with road traffic regulations.
Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
Ensure all delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery are completed accurately.
Communicate professionally with customers, transport planners and the traffic office.
Ensure goods are handled securely and safely throughout the delivery process.
Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle, reporting any defects promptly.
Requirements

Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous HGV driving experience preferred.
Experience with pallet deliveries and multi-drop work would be an advantage.
Good knowledge of road safety and drivers' hours regulations.
A reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
Good communication and customer service skills.

£17.65 per hour.
Monday to Friday working pattern.
Early starts at 6:00 AM.
Approximately 8–10 hours per day.
