HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver – Tamworth People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join our well-established client based in Tamworth . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, day and night shifts, weekly pay, immediate starts and ongoing work, with no heavy lifting involved. £15.00–£16.15 Per Hour | Day and Night Shifts | Weekly Pay | No Heavy Lifting | Immediate Starts | Ongoing Work This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, 7.5T Driver, Category C1 Driver, LGV Driver, Commercial Driver or Multi-Drop Delivery Driver. Shifts

• Monday to Friday days: 6:00am – 10:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday days: 6:00am – 10:00pm
• Monday to Sunday nights: 10:00pm – 6:00am
• Day and night shifts available Rates of Pay
• £15.00 per hour – day shifts
• £16.15 per hour – night shifts

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include:
• Safely operating Category C1 vehicles
• Completing deliveries in line with planned routes and schedules
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before departure
• Completing deliveries without heavy lifting
• Following road traffic legislation and transport regulations
• Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum six months' Category C1 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor driving offences
• No major driving endorsement codes
• Good spoken and written English
• Strong understanding of road traffic legislation and vehicle safety
• Excellent punctuality, time management and communication skills Desirable

• Previous commercial driving experience
