Ready for a new teaching opportunity? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Newbury is looking for a committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis.
This role would suit a Year 1 Teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and wants to create an engaging classroom where children feel confident, supported and motivated to learn.
What you'll be doing
As a Year 1 Teacher , you'll:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Track pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Support children's academic, social and emotional development
Promote independence, confidence and positive learning habits
Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents

About you
The successful Year 1 Teacher will have:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Previous experience teaching at KS1 level
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable teaching style
High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour
A genuine passion for helping young children succeed
