About the Team

In this role, you will play a key part in developing our London Indirect Tax Advisory practice. You will work closely with the London Indirect Tax Director and Partner, delivering high-quality technical advice to a diverse range of clients across various sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the scoping, delivery, and billing of client work.
• Ensuring compliance with the firm's risk management processes.
• Guiding junior staff in research and production of quality work.
• Supporting the relevant Indirect Tax Partner and Director.

About the Role

As a key player in our team, you will:

• Work alongside the Partner and Director to manage a portfolio of clients, serving as the main point of contact for indirect tax.
• Develop your portfolio to grow a base of profitable work.
• Utilize your business development skills to target new businesses and generate new work.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to contribute to proposals and provide technical input on tax-wide projects.
• Contribute ideas to the indirect tax leadership team regarding management, projects, strategy, and focus.

What We Are Looking For

This position is ideal for a current Senior or Assistant Manager with:

• Strong technical, business development, and personal skills.
• A keen interest in the technical aspects of Indirect Tax.
• Substantial experience in Indirect Tax advisory work.
• CTA qualification (or equivalent).
