Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor

As an SEN / SEND Tutor, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Norfolk. Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
• Plan and deliver holistic, trauma-informed tutoring sessions tailored to each student's needs.
• Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Professional Teaching Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is essential.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years teaching experience, particularly with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
• Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding processes is crucial.
• Enhanced DBS: We can assist you in obtaining this if needed.
• References: Two professional references are required.
• UK Residency: You must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

Employment Details

This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments. You will:

• Work through a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
• Not be guaranteed a set amount of work or expenses coverage.
• Be covered by our insurance for the work you do.
