Junior Management Accountant

Job description

We are recruiting a motivated and analytical Junior Management Accountant to join a busy Finance team. Reporting to an experienced Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a relevant accounting degree plus 1-2 years relevant work experience or part-qualified accountant studying towards CIMA or an equivalent qualification to develop their career.
Key Responsibilities
? Support monthly management accounts, journals, accruals and reconciliations.
? Prepare financial analysis, variance reports and commentary.
? Assist with budgeting, forecasting and month-end/year-end processes.
? Support Accounts Payable and Receivable, resolving queries as required.
? Assist with VAT/CIS returns, statutory accounts and audit requirements.
About You
? Graduate or part-qualified in accounting, ideally studying towards CIMA or equivalent.
? Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
? Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience would be advantageous.
? A proactive team player with strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
? Knowledge of CIS and Applications for Payment (AFPs) would be beneficial.
This is a part-time position offering 30-32 hours per week and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting skills and make a valuable contribution to a supportive Finance team.
