Why this role matters

Help teams deliver important projects safely, on time and to the right standard. You'll learn how projects are planned, organised and delivered, while developing skills in communication, decision-making, stakeholder management, risk and governance.

Entry requirement

5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including Maths and English, plus 3 A Levels at grade C or above, T Level Pass, BTEC Extended Diploma at MMM, or equivalent. Related subjects such as Maths, Science and IT are preferred.

Security clearance

Applicants must be British Nationals and aged 18 or over by 1 April 2027. You must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

Working pattern

Onsite apprenticeship based at AWE Aldermaston and/or Burghfield, with every other Friday off.

When you complete your apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to move into an Assistant Project Manager role, helping deliver projects and programmes that support AWE's mission.
