SEN Teaching Assistant | Waltham Forest | Primary SEN Support | £85.50-£110 per day | ASAP Start

Reeson Education is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for ASAP opportunities across the borough of Waltham Forest, East London, including Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone and Chingford.

Working pattern: Supply and longer-term opportunities, depending on vacancies. Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you could provide one-to-one or small-group support, following the class teacher's guidance and each pupil's agreed support plan.

Break instructions into manageable steps and reinforce learning using appropriate prompts or resources.
Support communication and interaction so pupils can participate more independently.
Help pupils follow routines, manage transitions and use agreed regulation strategies.
Share observations with teachers and SENCOs to help review support and recognise progress. What We Are Looking For in an SEN Teaching Assistant

Relevant experience supporting children with SEND in education, childcare, care or another suitable setting.
A patient SEN Teaching Assistant who listens carefully and follows guidance consistently.
Good teamwork, safeguarding awareness and a dependable approach to attendance.
