Position: Teaching Assistant/ Classroom Support
Location: Chester (Boughton, Hoole, Upton, Blacon, Saltney, Christleton, Great Boughton & surrounding areas)
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible Supply

Our local secondary schools are urgently looking for dedicated staff to support pupils and bring positive energy into the classroom. If you have solid experience as a TA, support worker or working with young people, your skills are highly valuable here. Requirements:

Relevant experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults (schools, care, or support work).

Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills.

An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and small-group academic and emotional support to secondary students.

Assist students who require extra guidance to help them engage fully with learning.

Support classroom teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and student engagement.

Foster an inclusive, safe, and positive environment for all pupils.

Monitor and report student progress to teachers and school leadership.
