HGV Class 2 Driver – Blantyre, Glasgow – £31,900 Per Annum – New Passes Welcome
People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation based in Blantyre, Glasgow , covering the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering a £31,900 annual salary, Monday-to-Friday working, 6:00am starts, full training, immediate starts and ongoing support. Both experienced and newly qualified HGV Class 2 Drivers are welcome to apply.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid HGV Driver or Multi-Drop Delivery Driver.

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Safely operating HGV Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
• Completing multi-drop deliveries with the support of a Driver's Mate
• Loading and unloading goods safely and accurately
• Carrying out manual handling and handball duties as required
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Following road traffic regulations and driver compliance requirements
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff
• Providing a professional and reliable delivery service

Essential Skills
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• Valid UK Category C driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No IN, DR, DD or CD driving offence codes
