Position: One-to-One SEN Tutor
Location: Bromley
Hours: Flexible, 0-40 hours per week
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience and qualifications

Provide Individualised Support That Makes a Difference

Remedy Tutors is seeking experienced or aspiring SEN Tutors to support children and young people who require additional help with their education.

Students may have autism, ADHD, dyslexia, communication and interaction needs, SEMH needs or difficulties engaging with mainstream education. Each placement is different, so tutors must be able to adapt their approach to the student's learning profile, strengths and challenges.

You'll provide one-to-one tuition that supports academic development while helping students build confidence and positive relationships with learning.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver tailored Maths and English tuition.

Adapt lessons to the student's age, ability and additional needs.

Break learning into manageable steps and use appropriate resources.

Support students who may experience difficulties with concentration, communication or engagement.

Encourage independence, confidence and progress.

Review learning and adapt future sessions accordingly.

About You

You must be able to teach both Maths and English.

Experience supporting students with SEN/SEND is desirable.

You understand the importance of patience, consistency and flexibility.

You can build positive relationships and create a supportive learning environment.
