Academics is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Gloucester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting children with different learning needs and wants to help create a positive, inclusive classroom. You'll work closely with teachers to support pupils' academic progress, social development and emotional well-being.

Role: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Gloucester

Setting: Mainstream Primary School

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £90-£105 per day, depending on experience

Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

Term time only

DBS: Enhanced DBS required, or willingness to apply

Your Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs.

Help deliver engaging lessons and tailored learning activities.

Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.

Support pupils' social and emotional development.

Work alongside teachers to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom.

Adapt support to help every child access learning and reach their potential.

Previous experience in education or supporting children is beneficial but not essential.
