Home Care Assistant – Doncaster

£13.65 per hour | Full-time and part-time opportunities | Minimum 20 hours per week

30p per mile for drivers | No previous experience required

Are you caring, compassionate and passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives? We're looking for dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team at our Doncaster branch, supporting individuals to live safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes.

You don't need previous care experience to apply. We're looking for people with the right values, a kind and patient approach, and a genuine desire to help others. We'll provide a comprehensive induction, full training and ongoing support to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in your role.

The role

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll provide person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing and toileting.
• Preparing meals and supporting individuals with their daily routines.
• Assisting with medication in line with training and individual care plans.
• Helping with everyday household tasks.
• Offering companionship, reassurance and emotional support.
• Treating every individual with dignity, kindness and respect.

Hours and shift patterns

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. Shifts are available across the following times:

• Morning/day shifts: 6am–2pm.
• Afternoon/evening shifts: 3pm–10pm.

You'll work on a two-week rolling rota, covering four days one week and three days the following week.

Weekend availability is essential. You can choose from the following weekend patterns:

• Working both Saturday and Sunday every other weekend; or
• Working every Saturday or every Sunday.
