FLT Counterbalance Driver

Job description

Our manufacturing client based in the Dudley/Halesowen area of the Black Country are now looking to add to their warehouse/FLT team.
Working Monday - Friday rotating shifts weekly (6am - 2pm and 2pm-10pm) you will be an experienced counterbalance FLT driver, have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to assist others in the warehouse as part of your role.
The successful candidate will have proven experience FLT experience within a busy manufacturing environment.
Be flexible to complete manual lifting of material and signing off completed pallets as required.
You will also be willing to assist with general housekeeping of your area as required and as part of the team.
Requirements:
Proven previous forklift truck (FLT) experience
Valid FLT licence preferred (out of date may be acceptable with proven work history)
Experience working within a busy manufacturing environment
Ability to perform manual handling and lifting duties
Flexible and team-oriented approach to work
Responsibilities:
Working within a busy manufacturing facility, across both their warehouse and manufacturing functions.
Removing finished products from production lines and transporting them to the dispatch area ready for shipment accurately and safely using FLT.
Operating forklift trucks safely and effectively throughout the manufacturing process.
Completing pallet documentation and signing off finished pallets as required.
Carrying out manual handling duties when necessary.
