Graduate Cover Supervisor- Grimsby

We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated graduates to work as Cover Supervisors across a range of Secondary schools in Lincolnshire on a daily supply and long-term basis.

The role is particularly well suited to graduates who are considering a career in teaching, education, youth work or other roles working with young people. You do not need to be a qualified teacher or have previous classroom experience, making this an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience of school life before committing to teacher training or a longer-term career in education.

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor on supply, you will:

Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the usual classroom teacher.

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.

Maintain appropriate classroom expectations and promote a positive learning environment.

Support students with their work and encourage engagement in lessons.

Manage low-level behaviour effectively and confidently.

Develop valuable classroom management, communication and leadership skills.

Build positive professional relationships with students and school staff.

Report any issues or concerns to the relevant teaching staff.
