Sleep-in each night, responding if she needs you

A private family in Southampton (SO31) is looking for an experienced carer for an older lady living in her own home, to start as soon as you are available.
She has dementia, mobility (stand aid, wheelchair), personal care and mealtime support needs. She enjoys company and conversation.
The pattern is two days on, two days off, alternating with our existing carer. You stay in the house for your two days overnight.
The role is initially for two months with potential for longer term work.
Profile
Experience caring for older people with dementia
Confident with moving and handling, including a stand aid, with training given
Capable with cooking and housework
Patient, calm and a good communicator
Trustworthy, dependable
Enhanced DBS on the adult barred list, or willing to apply, right to work in the UK, two references
We offer
£200+ per 24 hour shift, with anticipation that you will be sleeping / resting for about half of this time.
Fixed two on, two off rota, so your days off are predictable
Paid handover shifts with the current carer before you work alone
Enhanced DBS and any training paid for
Monthly pay by BACS, workplace pension where eligible
One person to care for, fully engaged family, budget for activities & wellbeing
Travel to and from work at your own cost. Free parking at the house.
