365 People are currently recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client for a reliable, hardworking and hands-on Driver's Mate / Furniture Installer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, travelling to different locations and delivering a high standard of customer service. The successful candidate will assist with the delivery, assembly and installation of flat pack furniture at retail sites, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities Collect flat-pack furniture from the client's headquarters in Cradley Heath.
Assist with the safe loading, unloading and transportation of furniture.
Deliver furniture to various retail sites and customer locations.
Assemble and install furniture to the required standard.
Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently and with attention to detail.
Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
Return to the Cradley Heath headquarters upon completion of the day's installations.
Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements A flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work up to 12 hours on some days.
A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to undertake physical work.
Good communication skills and a professional manner.
Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
Working Hours Working hours will vary depending on travel distances and installation schedules. Candidates must be flexible, as some shifts may last up to 12 hours.
Pay & Benefits Competitive pay rate – £13.00 Per Hour
Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
