Class 1 HGV Drivers Required – Chesterfield

We are currently recruiting new pass and experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers on behalf of a leading logistics provider operating from Chesterfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular work now, with the potential for full-time, ongoing opportunities as the operation expands.
The Role
You will be delivering chilled and ambient goods to RDC's as part of a well-established logistics operation.
Typical Duties:
Class 1 HGV trunking and store delivery work
Chilled and ambient loads
2-4 deliveries per route
No handball involved (Unless Aldi Deliveries which are self tipping)
No nights out required (unless agreed in advance)
Start times available between 12:00 – 00:00
Ideal shift pattern would be Tuesday to Saturday
Various shift patterns across a 7-day operation
Shift Lengths
Monday to Thursday: Typically 10 hours shifts
Friday to Sunday: Typically 12 hour shifts
Pay Rates
PAYE
Monday – Friday - £16.50 (excluding holiday) £18.49 (including holiday)
Saturday - £17.48 (excluding holiday) £19.59 (including holiday)
Sunday - £18.98 (excluding holiday) £21.17 (excluding holiday)
LTD Company Drivers
Monday to Friday: £20.95 per hour
Saturday: £21.95 per hour
Sunday: £22.95 per hour
Available Work
Our client can immediately offer consistent work throughout the year
Requirements
Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred but new pass drivers accepted
Good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD regulations
