Are you ready to hit the road and make a difference? Brook Street Recruitment is excited to partner with our client in Antrim to find a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver for a full-time, permanent position. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you!

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Load and Unload: Manage vehicle loads according to generated paperwork.
• Delivery and Collection: Execute tasks as directed with precision.
• Vehicle Checks: Conduct daily and weekly checks to ensure road-worthiness.
• Compliance: Adhere to all UK road usage legislation while representing IFS.
• Communication: Stay connected with the Transport office during driving tasks.
• Record Keeping: Accurately log hours worked using the Company’s Timeware system.
• Health & Safety: Follow all H&SAW regulations and company policies.
• Product Care: Ensure the safety and integrity of all products in the warehouse.
• Additional Tasks: Assist with projects as directed by the Transport/Warehouse Manager.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Keep vehicles clean and operational, washing at least once a week.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Driver CPC Qualification: Essential for this role.
• Manual Handling Training: Required for safe operations.
• Clean Driving Licence: A must-have for our drivers.
• Experience: Familiarity with multi-drop operations and a good knowledge of Northern Ireland’s towns and cities.

Working Conditions:

Your working hours will be from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday (with a one-hour lunch break), or as operationally required.

Compensation:

Enjoy a competitive salary of £33,205 per year.

Additional Information:

We welcome newly qualified drivers, who will be considered subject to approval by our insurers.
