HGV Driver - Full job description

• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Driving and operating vacuum tankers and jetting equipment to facilitate removal of wastewater/sludge from private sewage treatment plants & septic tanks
• Working alongside the scheduling team to attend sites efficiently and timely
• Carrying out routine daily checks on tankers in order to comply with Road Traffic Act requirements and to ensure continuity with the Operators Licence
• Carrying out daily and weekly checks to ensure legal road worthiness at all times. Accurately record driving hours through a Taco Graph system
• Accurately report and record defects. Record nil defects and action defects immediately
• Assisting other team members on various roles when required
• Lone working will be 90% of the role
