7.5 Ton Home Delivery Driver – Ipswich

- IP1 £17.86 per hour (inclusive of holiday) | Overtime £22.97 per hour (After 48 hours) Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home Delivery Drivers for a well-known, multi-national client based in Ipswich .

The Role- You will work alongside a Drivers Mate , delivering large items to residential properties.

Products include: Flat-pack furniture Gym equipment White goods Beds and Sofas This is a physically demanding role and candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.

Please be aware that the company offers a "room of choice" delivery service .

Full training will be provided to ensure deliveries are completed safely and professionally.

Working Hours & Shift Patterns

• The operation runs 7 days a week You will be offered 5 shifts per week on a rotating rota Weekend work is required
• you will be expected to work Saturday or Sunday each week Start time: 06:00 Shift length: approximately 8–11 hours Assessments & Training- Successful applicants will be required to: Pass a driving assessment Complete a multiple-choice Highway Code and tacho test Attend mandatory induction days (following the assessment)

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold a valid UK driving licence (7.5t) Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card Have no more than 6 points on your licence Have no DD, DR, or IN endorsements Be able to reliably commute to site.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.

Please note that drug tests can be carried out at anytime, at the clients discretion.
