Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our trusted client in the Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for consistent Monday to Friday work with a well-established logistics operation.
This role offers regular start times, ongoing work and the opportunity to secure permanent employment with the client for the right candidate.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday
£16.97 per hour (PAYE)
£19.02 per hour including holiday pay
Holiday Pay
Holiday entitlement is accrued separately in line with PAYE regulations.
Rolled-up holiday pay is not available for this vacancy.

About the Role

Working within the logistics and transport industry, this HGV Class 2 Driver position involves delivering and installing equipment at customer premises as part of a two-person crew. The role combines professional driving duties with customer-facing responsibilities and offers full training for installation tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

Heavy handball work as part of a two-person delivery team
Delivery and installation of printers at customer locations
Full installation training provided
Occasional installation of secure parcel locker units
Ensuring all deliveries and installations are completed safely and efficiently
Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
Completing delivery paperwork and records accurately
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Adhering to all driving regulations and company procedures

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday
No weekend work required
06:00 AM start times
Typical shifts of 10-12 hours per day
Ongoing long-term work
Consistent weekly hours available

Requirements

Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Good customer service skills
Ability to undertake heavy lifting and handball work
Professional and reliable approach to work
Strong understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
