Key responsibilities

Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly during night shifts
Complete planned deliveries and collections in line with agreed schedules
Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift
Secure and handle loads safely where required
Complete delivery paperwork and other relevant records accurately
Follow road safety, transport and company procedures
Maintain professional communication with customers, site staff and transport teams

Skills and qualifications

A valid HGV Class 1 driving entitlement
Previous professional HGV driving experience
A safe, responsible and punctual approach to work
Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Good communication and organisational skills
Relevant driving documents must be current and suitable for the role
