Class 1 Driver – Local & National Deliveries – Scunthorpe

£16.50 per hour | Monday to Friday | 07:00 Starts | Immediate Start Available

Recruit A Driver is looking for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a role based in Scunthorpe, offering a combination of local trailer runs and longer-distance deliveries.

This position provides variety throughout the working week, with a mix of local work and approximately 4–5 national deliveries per shift.

What Does the Job Involve?

• Completing local trailer runs and national deliveries
• Carrying out approximately 4–5 national deliveries per shift
• Operating a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring delivery paperwork is completed accurately
• Following driver hours regulations and site safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• At least 6 months' recent Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points, minor offences only
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
