Your Role: More Than Just Care

This isn't just a job; it's about building meaningful relationships, sharing interests, and encouraging independence. Whether you're experienced in support work or new to the field, we provide all the training and support you need to thrive.

About the Person You'll Be Supporting

  • Listening to music from the 70s and 80s
  • Singing along to favorite songs
  • Watching classic films, including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
  • Going for drives and exploring the local area
  • Short walks and spending time in the community
  • Healthy home-cooked meals
  • Social interaction and meaningful conversations

The ideal support worker will enjoy building connections and helping someone feel valued and supported.

What You'll Be Doing

Your daily tasks may include:

  • Supporting with daily living tasks and routines
  • Encouraging confidence and independence
  • Facilitating access to local activities and community events
  • Accompanying to appointments and outings
  • Preparing healthy meals
  • Helping maintain hobbies and interests
  • Providing emotional support, companionship, and encouragement

Most importantly, you'll help someone live the life they choose while staying connected to their local community.

What We're Looking For

You don't need previous care experience; if you have the right attitude and values, we'll teach you the rest. We're particularly interested in candidates who are:

  • Caring, patient, and compassionate
  • Confident communicators
  • Able to remain calm and positive in challenging situations
  • Willing to learn new skills and approaches
  • Reliable and committed to making a difference
  • Team players who can also work independently
  • Enthusiastic and ready to bring fresh ideas to the team

A full UK driving licence is highly desirable, as the person we support enjoys regular drives and community outings. Experience with behaviours of concern or Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) knowledge would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.

This is a full-time position with a 37.5-hour contract. Shifts include:

  • 07:00 - 14:30
