Registered Manager – Huddersfield (HD5) Role: Registered Manager – Children's Residential Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire – HD5
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children's residential service in Huddersfield. This is a hands‑on leadership position for someone who understands that excellent residential care comes from having the right culture, the right people and the right standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day‑to‑day running of the home.
- Leading and developing the staff team.
- Ensuring children receive safe, consistent and nurturing care.
- Maintaining strong safeguarding practice.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Working with professionals involved in children's care.
- Monitoring outcomes and care planning.
- Supporting staff through supervision and development.
- Maintaining excellent records and standards throughout the service.
You'll need:
- Children's residential care experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding.
- A child‑centred approach to care.
