Area to be covered: North

Remuneration: £40,000 – £60,000 DOE + 20% bonus

Benefits: £500 – £600 car allowance and full benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager –Civil Building Products will involve:

• Field sales role promoting predominantly a manufactured range of access & drainage solutions such as: access cover, gully gratings, steel covers, drainage
• 50% of your time will be spent selling to national & independent civil’s merchants such as: Burdens, Keyline, Civils & Lintel and JDP
• The remaining 50% will be spilt evenly selling to contractors & utilities
• Once up and running will be expected to turnover £1m
• Working closely with and reporting to SD & MD

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Civil Building Products with:

• Must have worked for or sold to builders merchants or contractors
• Open in terms of what products you’ve sold
• Would consider an internal sales / branch professional working for merchant such as Jewson Civils, JDP, Keylite and Burdens
• Would consider someone from a tier 1 contractor focusing on infrastructure projects
• Ideally sold some civils or heavyside building products such as; building drainage, manhole covers, access covers, gratings, linear drainage channel, underground pipes and fittings, security chambers/ covers etc.
• Autonomous in nature
• Structured sales process/ territory management skills
