We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our growing and ambitious team.
The Role

Key Responsibilities
Working closely with our internal team, external consultants, contractors and stakeholders, you will:
- Oversee pricing exercises, tender documentation and support the tendering process.
- Prepare and/or support cost estimates, tender submissions, bid analysis and commercial negotiations.
- Assist with project feasibility studies and commercial appraisals.
- Monitor valuations, cost reporting, change management and project financial performance.
- Review contractor valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Provide commercial and value-engineering advice across development projects.
- Identify and report potential budget risks, cost pressures and other commercial impacts.
- Prepare financial reporting and project updates for senior management and the Board.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully and commercially.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a main contractor, developer or housebuilder environment.
- A strong understanding of cost control, valuations, procurement and contract administration.
- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
- A proactive attitude with a practical, "can-do" approach to problem solving.
- The ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with design teams, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Benefits
- Join an award-winning and highly respected Scottish property business.
- Work on a diverse portfolio of exciting development projects.
- Play a key role on the client/developer side of the business.
- Be part of a supportive, close-knit and experienced team.
- Competitive salary package of £35,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience.
- Opportunity for professional development and long-term career growth.
