ESS Technical Engineer – UK

Location: UK | Department: Sales

We are looking for an ESS Technical Engineer to provide technical support, product training and pre/post-sales expertise for Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and Energy Management products across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on residential ESS solutions, including batteries, inverters and BMS.

• Support distributors and installers with pre- and post-sales technical assistance.

• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations and customer training.

• Work closely with sales teams to identify new opportunities and support pipeline development.

• Build strong relationships with distributors, installers and other partners.

• Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to support UK market requirements and product improvements.

• Monitor UK ESS market trends and competitor products/pricing.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant electrical installation/testing qualification and experience.

• 3+ years’ experience in ESS project management or technical service.

• Experience with subcontractor management and warranty handling.

• Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards and PV/ESS installation practices.

• Ability to interpret technical schematics.

• Strong customer and relationship-building skills.

• Willingness to travel locally within the UK.
