Between £40,800 and £55,200 Per Month

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Learning Partner Performance Manager to lead and develop our Learning Partner Performance team, supporting the quality and integrity of our global Learning Partner network.

This is an important management role within our Learning Partner Quality function. You will lead a team of Quality Assurance Auditors and Quality Account Managers who work with Learning Partners across the UK and internationally. You will help ensure that quality assurance activities are delivered consistently, accurately and in line with NEBOSH policies, regulatory requirements and organisational objectives.

Working closely with the Head of Learning Partner Accreditation & Performance, you will play a key role in safeguarding standards across our network of Learning Partners, identifying and addressing risks, leading complex investigations where required and driving continuous improvement in our quality assurance processes.

You will act as deputy to the Head of Learning Partner Accreditation & Performance when required and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to quality assurance, compliance and Learning Partner engagement. The role includes occasional UK and international travel.

What you will do

You will:

  • Lead, coach and develop members of the Learning Partner Performance team, supporting their professional growth and helping to build a high-performing and engaged team.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Learning Partner Performance function, ensuring activities are delivered efficiently, consistently and to agreed standards.
  • Oversee quality assurance activity across a network of UK and international Learning Partners.
  • Monitor team performance, workloads, quality assurance activity and key performance indicators.
  • Support the identification, assessment and management of risks that could impact the quality of the Learning Partner network.
  • Use data, intelligence and reporting tools to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead complex and high-profile contractual breach investigations and provide oversight and support for investigations carried out by team members.
  • Review investigation findings and quality assurance outcomes to ensure consistency, accuracy and evidence-based decision making.
  • Support the development and implementation of new approaches, processes and tools to strengthen quality assurance and risk management activities.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, third-party partners and Learning Partners to maintain effective relationships and support positive outcomes.
  • Contribute to business planning, project work and continuous improvement initiatives across the Learning Partner Quality function.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, integrity, accountability and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

You will have significant experience of leading and developing people in a quality assurance, compliance, education, awarding organisation or similarly regulated environment. You will be able to demonstrate success in managing teams, developing capability and delivering high-quality outcomes through others.

You will also bring:

  • Experience of managing performance and building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Experience of quality assurance, compliance, audit, investigation or related activities.
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to build trust and credibility with colleagues, Learning Partners and external stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement and the confidence to make difficult decisions when required.
  • Experience of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience of identifying risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • The ability to lead change and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • A commitment to delivering fair, consistent and high-quality services.

Knowledge of educational assessment, awarding organisations or accredited centre networks would be advantageous. Experience of working with international partners, quality assurance frameworks, investigations, compliance activities or risk-based approaches would also be beneficial.
